Technological development has brought so much ease to our everyday lives. Initially, we had to carry physical cash wherever we go if we ever hope of getting anything. Subsequently, it was reduced to credit cards and we could travel cashless or “cash light”. Now, with digital wallets, we can as well decide to leave our credit cards at home as we move. This payment system is now widely used in Vegas such that most of its hotel-casino resorts allow their guests to utilize the likes of Samsung Pay, Android Pay, Apple Pay, and Google Wallet to pay their bills excluding gambling bills.
The largest resort on the city’s famed Strip, MGM Resorts, now accepts digital payments at a majority of its points-of-sale at its 12 Vegas properties (though there are some limitations at Circus Circus). Over the past months, MGM has been making efforts to make its sales point compatible with digital wallets so that bills can be paid seamlessly as opposed to the use of cash or credit cards.

In addition to the popular digital payment system (Samsung Pay, Android Pay, Apple Pay, and Google Wallet), WeChat Pay, a popular digital payment system in China was launched last week by Caesars Entertainment. With this, it definitely seeks to improve its presence in the U.S. Caesars has 11 resorts in Las Vegas and WeChat is the only digital wallet program available in all its resorts. WeChat technology is not different from the other digital wallet technology that we already know. It involves downloading the app, linking it with a bank account and to make payment, you will have to scan the unique QR code. Sixteen strategic locations at Caesars Palace got the handheld scanners and payment can be made for everything from a meal at the Bacchanal Buffet to tickets for shows. All transactions in Las Vegas are in U.S. dollars. Hundred of millions of people already make use of the WeChat payment platform to pay for everything from bicycle rentals to hospital expenses and the company intends to expand to other properties next year.
Vegas-visitors-electronic-wallet-2
Claire Yang, Caesars’ director of international marketing, said in a phone interview from Beijing.

“This is the trend, I firmly believe that American customers will adopt digital payments in the future. It’s the way to go. Credit cards will become obsolete.”

The active user base of WeChat has hit the 600 million mark worldwide according to a Caesar news release. Although all sort of payments can be made using digital wallets, for gambling, all these resorts agree on one thing, you will still need cash. A limited number of shops within the Venetian’s Grand Canal Shoppes do welcome electronic wallet users but Wynn/Encore and the Venetian/Palazzo resorts don’t accept digital payments.

Here in the UK, we have been waiting, ever so patiently, for the launch of Samsung Pay, the companies mobile payment service. Information gleaned from sales executives can be a bit sketchy at times (understatement of the year), but it looks like the wait might finally be over soon.
One of the readers of Sammobile has sent in screenshots of two chats with two different Samsung reps that confirm May 16th as the actual launch date of Samsung Pay in the UK. Seeing that there are actually a couple of reps giving out the same date does add to the credibility of the Information.
The UK release of Samsung Pay is thought to have been delayed by some UK legal red tape, but hopefully all this has been settled now. We should see the release of both NFC and MST features, meaning that most of the terminals in the UK are covered. I’ve recently started using Android Pay on my Android device, but I’m looking forward to the day that I can use it on my Samsung Gear S3 smartwatch.

It seems like the Tizen Developer Conference (TDC) 2017, which is taking place next week, could be of more Interest than we thought. We have already Informed you about the Exclusive Tizen developer device giveaway and also additional Information about the conference. Now, the guys over at Sammobile are speculating that Samsung’s new fitness tracker, possibly called the Gear Fit Pro, could be unveiled at the event.
Samsung has already trademarked the name, Gear Fit Pro, but not much else is known at this point, other than it could carry the model number SM-R365. The wearable device could also link to Samsung’s Simband health platform that would enable cloud-sourced health tracking.
There is also potentially news on another device called the Gear POP, carrying model number SM-R600. What is the device? Your guess is good as mine at this point, but we know you would hate us for not mentioning it. Could Samsung talk about it at TDC? Not long to go now. See you there 😉 May 16-17 in San Francisco, California.

The newest wearable technology has given us smartwatch features that assist us in managing our hectic lives. Here’s what to look for now.

Watches have evolved from simple time-keeping devices to more complicated ones. However, smartwatches and fitness trackers are not interchangeable. Here’s a list of everything you need to know about smartwatch features.

Who Needs a Smartwatch?

A smartwatch is a wearable computer that does more than just tell time. These devices include apps that connect to your smartphone.
In addition, they show incoming messages and calls, as well as maps and weather updates. Smartwatches can connect to smartphones and display functionality without touching the phone.
Smartwatches also have sensors for tracking health and fitness, heart rate, GPS, and steps. For daily use or for specific reasons, most smartwatches provide more functionalities than a normal watch. Using a smartphone has many advantages.

Health and Fitness Smartwatch Features

Smartwatches are fantastic health and fitness trackers. These devices monitor your activity all day long.
For example, they have heart rate monitors that keep your heart rate in check when exercising. In addition, they have sleep monitors that track sleep quantity and quality.

Music and the Smartwatch

Listen to your music on your smartwatch…with or without a smartphone.
Users connect their phones and choose songs from their phone’s music library. Additionally, some powerful smartwatches play music without connecting to your phone. Your favorite music is downloaded and played on the smartwatch…even when the phone isn’t available!

Call and Receive Calls

One great smartwatch feature is that when it is connected to your phone, you are able to make and receive calls.
Some models have a SIM card port. With that, you are able to make calls without picking up your phone.

Smartphone Navigation Feature

Using your phone to check directions is inconvenient and risky. When it is done while driving or cycling, it is especially dangerous.
Thankfully, smartwatch features solve this issue by providing directions directly on the wrist. In addition, some types of smartwatches emit various vibrations to indicate left or right turns.

Notifications

With a smartwatch, check your phone’s notifications. Once connected to your phone, you get email, apps, social networking, and message notifications. This keeps you updated with a flick of the wrist.

Fall Detection and Alarm

A new smartwatch feature is fall detection. Nowadays, most smartwatches detect falls.
When the sensor detects a fall, it quickly activates the alarm. If the user doesn’t react, the smartwatch immediately calls for aid. This function is ideal for the elderly who are prone to falls.

Do You Need a Smartwatch?

Having a smartwatch has several advantages. However, with advantage sometimes comes disadvantages. In this case, the smartphone features’ pluses outnumber the minuses. A wristwatch helps you achieve fitness goals and maintain a healthy lifestyle. In addition, these devices are trendy and look good.
Smartwatches go well with jewelry or traditional accessories, keeping you looking great whatever you are wearing. Additionally, most smartwatches are waterproof and can be worn in the shower or while swimming.
However, the downside is that most smartwatches are expensive. Similarly, if you want more features, you pay more for them. Because they have so many features, they will last all day or night but will need to be charged regularly.
Despite a few flaws, smartwatches are worth the investment. Some models, like Garmin, Apple, or Samsung, are pricey. However, you get your money’s worth. In addition, premium smartwatches with reliable data are available at moderate prices.

Benefits of Smartwatch Features

While many smartwatch models have unique styles and functionality, some features and functions are shared.
The best feature of smartwatches is their app support. These smartwatch apps make life easier. Some Android smartwatches include Shazam, Lifesum, and IFTTT. Apple Watch apps include CARROT Fit, Camera Plus, Evernote, Citymapper, and Calcbot.
Smartwatches may get vital notifications much like smartphones. This is an important function of a smartwatch. It keeps you informed of your daily activities.
Most smartwatches use GPS to get location-based notifications and track your location. This feature frees you from staring at your phone’s map.
Additionally, these devices have various health and fitness features. They are ideal for fitness enthusiasts and health-conscious people. Fitness trackers with capabilities including heart rate monitoring and fall detection.

Wrap It Up!

Smartwatches are fantastic tools for an active lifestyle.
However, there are many smartwatch models available. Therefore, picking the ideal one is a challenge. This article should help you select the best smartwatch for you. Whether you are looking for greater flexibility with the use of apps, or for help with your health and fitness goals, a smartwatch is a great choice.

Smartwatches are one of the most popular consumer goods as they have so many features that improve everyday life. Here are five to look for.

If you’re looking for a watch, a smartwatch is a terrific alternative because there are so many on the market nowadays. When it comes to purchasing a smartwatch, it can be difficult if you are unfamiliar with the various features, hardware, and so on. Smartwatches range in price from $50 to $500 or even more. In addition, each one performs differently.
Read reviews and comparisons on some of the biggest brands in the market. Learn about brands such as Apple, Fitbit, Garmin, and others. This is the best approach to finding and buying a smartwatch. If you’re interested in a Xiaomi watch, you can compare all of them here to pick the one that’s right for you.
Before you spend your hard-earned cash on a smartwatch, there are five things you should know to get the most out of your investment.

1. First, check for compatibility.

One of the first stages in purchasing a smartwatch is to determine whether or not your smartphone is compatible with the watch. Apple watches, for example, are designed to function only with iPhones. Samsung smartwatches, on the other hand, are designed to work with Samsung phones and other Android devices.
You won’t be able to use your watch very effectively if it isn’t compatible with your smartphone.
If it is not compatible, it will have limited functions and features you can use. Therefore, when you buy a smartwatch, think about what kind of smartphone you have (or want). Similarly, consider whether you want a watch like Fossil or Fitbit that works with all kinds of operating systems.

2. Consider the life of the batteries of your smartwatch.

With the amount of time people spend staring at screens during the day, it’s critical to pay attention to battery life.
There are various smartwatches on the market with battery life ranging from 3 to 20 days. As a result, your smartwatch’s battery life will vary depending on the functions and features it has to offer.
Therefore, while buying a watch, pay attention to the battery life. The last thing you want is for your phone battery to fail before your day even begins. Smartwatches, nevertheless, are notorious for their poor battery life.

3. Avoid cheap brands.

When purchasing a watch, it’s always preferable to go for well-known brands rather than brands you have never heard of. The reason for this is simple; numerous timepieces imitate these branded businesses and sell them as alternatives.
It’s better to invest in a high-quality smartwatch. Don’t get stuck with a cheap knock-off watch that only lasts a few months.
This does not imply that you must get the most expensive watch on the market. Rather, look for good brands that are within your price range. Make a list of the features you’re looking for and then pick the ideal watch for you. Learn more about the various characteristics of a smartwatch by reading on.

4. Decide on the best features of smartwatches.

Smartwatches are popular because of the many features you access with a simple tap of the wrist. Most of the tools on your smartphone are easily accessible through your smartwatch. This allows you to complete your everyday duties more efficiently.
Smartwatches are also able to help promote your health. Many provide a variety of fitness tracking modes with precise results. Pedometers, heart rate monitors, sleep monitors, water intake, and exercise programs are some of the possible features. In addition, media management and social notifications are some of the most common features.

5. Consider the design features of your smartwatch.

When it comes to style, size, color, and other factors, picking a smartwatch is exactly like buying a smartphone. Similarly, seek out smartwatches that best suit your needs.
The square-shaped watch and the standard round watch are the two most popular watch designs. Along with the design, manufacturers also offer a variety of designed straps. The straps should complement your clothing and personal style.
Everyone wants to look nice in their new watch. Therefore, you might consider Fossil, Garmin, Samsung Galaxy Active, or Ticwatch. In addition, check out other popular brands if you’re looking for round-shaped watches. If you prefer square-shaped designs, Apple, Fitbit, and Amazfit are your best bet.

Wrap it up, I’ll take it.

Following this basic guidance, you should be able to pick the ideal smartwatch for your lifestyle.
Make sure you read the warranty on repair and replacement so you know how to get your gadget fixed if it breaks. Although Apple’s smartwatch is the most popular on the market, there are a few Apple competitors that offer a variety of smart capabilities in addition to reliable service.

Samsung is releasing some more watch faces for the Galaxy Watch 4, which already has lots of watch faces. There will be 4 more, a basic dashboard, one primarily focused on weather, one being an info brick, and one being a live wallpaper. The GIF below is a GIF of all 4 watch faces.

From The Verge

Though the faces are cool in their way, they’re not the only features that are going to be added. You’ll be able to use a knock-knock motion in the air to launch a preset. Fall detection has been improved, so if you are standing and you fall, the watch will know. The features will be added on Wednesday for the Bluetooth versions of the Galaxy Watch 4 and Watch 4 Classic, and as for LTE versions, Samsung says that the updates will be released shortly after.

Samsung is also releasing limited edition Maison Kitsuné versions of the Galaxy Watch 4 and the Galaxy Buds 2. They come in a taupe colour and have a custom band, charger, and box. The Galaxy Buds 2 have the taupe colour, a custom wire, a custom case and buds, and a custom box. Pictures from The Verge can be found below:

Samsung has announced that it is trialling a new VMS system. This is so far is only available in Australia. VMS is part of re-open.com – a cloud-based platform created by Deakin University, NTRI, and SaniteX Global to control the world following Covid-19.

Employers and employees will use the platform to gather health-related information such as the heart rate and SpO2 sensor — a virtual medical health screening whilst the user is still at home. The user will also be required to fill out a survey and will then receive a QR-Code – this can be used to attempt access to their workplace.

Employees will have to share their health data on a daily basis. As we can see the situation in Australia and the forced government control and vaccine mandates – Employers will most likely force employees to share their health data on penalty of dismissal.

Is VMS safe?

Samsung says it is. There is a long version of this discussing encryption etc, but if the data is simply handed over to third parties then it really doesn’t matter if the damn thing was encrypted in the first place or not.

The post Apple October 2021 event – Mac’s time to shine appeared first on ReadWrite.

]]>

Just a few days ago, Apple themselves held an event where the iPad Mini, iPad, iPhone 13 and a new Apple Watch were revealed. What wasn’t there was any sort of computer/MacBook of any kind. However, there now may be an October event that will introduce the M1X Mac‘s, the AirPods 3 and possibly more.

When will it occur?

The event isn’t final. However, we do have an idea about it. Apple has said that there would be another event in September, while it is unlikely to have events 7 days across from each other. If it were to be in September, Apple would’ve already sent out the invites. It makes sense if it were to come out in October, just as Apple has done in the past. Unfortunately, in the past, the events have been mid-to-late ones. However, Apple can change it this month. It could be on a Tuesday in October. Gurman recently reported that M1X MacBook Pros would be launching in several weeks. This says that the M1X MacBook Pro’s could be released on October 19 or 26 on Apple’s events.

AirPods 3 – They’re late to the party

The AirPods 3 have been set to launch for a long time and is extremely late to being released. It basically should’ve been released in the September event. For some reason, they did not appear, and lots of people were expecting it in the September event. For this reason, we ought to believe that it will come out in October. Apple is planning to make them look more like AirPods Pro, and ill have shorter stems that will make the product more compact. They will not have any silicon tips, though this is extremely worrying as these are the very key to AirPods Pro ANC (Active Noise Cancelling) and should be included as an extra option.

M1X Mac Mini

The Mac Mini right now only has the Apple M1 chip for its latest version of the Mac Mini. However, it is set to have a major update, that will change the already pretty fast chipset into an ultra-fast chip. It will have more Thunderbolt ports, a MagSafe power connecter, and a “plexiglass-like top.” The M1 Mac Mini was just launched, yet Apple is already upgrading and will have a better design.

M1X MacBook Pro – 14-inch model?

The MacBook Pro is said to slim down its bezels and expand its screen to make it a 14-inch model, and the display will be made out of mini-LEDs that is in the iPad Pro. This will make the laptop brighter and have more contrast. A big feature is that they are finally going to ditch the touch bar for the first time since 2016. Instead of having to buy a separate device just to plug in an HDMI cable to your laptop, a return of the missed MagSafe, the HDMI port and an SD Card Slot. The chassis will also be remade into a flat-edged design. The new M1X chip will be inside the laptop and will sport better graphics. All changes will be integrated into the MacBook Pro 16-inch, which will have an M1X chip with additional GPU cores, for the first time.

In Tizen, an app named the Hand Wash App was released. It would remind people to wash their hands regularly. This same app, with no changes, has been released for the Galaxy Watch 4 and the Watch 4 Classic.

It can be downloaded using the Google Play Store, and auto-detects when you wash your hands and can be made to set a timer for washing your hands properly. It can also show how many times a certain person has washed their hands in the day. The app is a low 18MB and can appear on other apps.

During this pandemic, the app has been used a lot now to remind people to wash their hands, and even say how many times they have washed their hands by detecting if you are moving your arms in a certain way to rub soap and water onto your hands.

A recent study published in the medicals journal claim that blood pressure monitoring on all recent Samsung smartwatches could help people with Parkinson’s disease manage OH (Orthostatic Hypotension).

Galaxy Watches such as the Galaxy Watch 4 series, the Galaxy Watch 3 and the Galaxy Watch Active 2 could help people with Parkinson’s disease manage OH. OH is a problem seen mainly in elderly people, and is a form of low blood pressure caused by blood vessels not narrowing. Galaxy Watches could help detect fluctuations to help manage the disease. Samsung’s Medical centre compared blood pressure readings of the Galaxy Watch 3 with a sphygmomanometer to compare the accuracy of its smartwatches. The readings from the Galaxy Watch 3 were comparable.

The Galaxy Watch Active 2, Galaxy Watch 4, and the Galaxy Watch 4 Classic use pulse wave analysis using heart rate sensors to monitor blood pressure.

The test was run on 56 patients, most over 66 years of age.

Overall, it seems as though medical centres could use Samsung smartwatches to detect early issues of Orthostatic hypertension in the near future.

Samsung has launched its very own Galaxy Watch 4 Golf Edition in South Korea. As the name speculates, the watch is mainly made for golf.

Though it is only available in South Korea, the Galaxy Watch 4 Golf Edition comes pre-installed with the app Caddie. Caddie measures and displays golf players performance, such as power, how far away they hit the ball and even automatic hole information recognition.

The watch comes in two versions, a 40mm Silver version and a 44mm Black. The 44m Black costs $281 while the 40mm Silver comes at $256. The watch can be bought off Samsung’s website, Golf Zone Market, Samsung Digital Plaza, and Golping Market.

So, what is this watch?

Well, the Watch is basically the Galaxy Watch 4, however with more specialising in golf rather than fitness / daily use. The pre-installed Caddie app measures aerial photos, satellite maps, automatic hole information recognition, power, shot distance, and elevation.

The Galaxy Watch 4 series consists of 3 smartwatches. The Galaxy Watch 4 and Watch 4 Classic, and now the Galaxy Watch 4 Golf Edition (Only available in South Korea)

Samsung has launched a new software update for its Galaxy Watch 4 and Watch 4 Classic, which is said to improve the virtual touch feature. Its name is version R880XXU1BUI5/R890XXU1BUI5. Though the Galaxy Watch 4 doesn’t have a bezel, you can still swipe to navigate through the home screen.

Users have said that on the Galaxy Watch 4 and Watch 4 Classic, they would have issues when they swiped along the UI using their fingers. You can expect the update to fully come out to everyone soon. The update is around 290MB and should install on the watches pretty fast.

The Galaxy Watch 4 series is brand-new, so there is bound to be a number of glitches and updates.

Happy updating.

Samsung Galaxy Watch 4 series watches are powered by Samsung’s Exynos W920 chipset. Qualcomm has been developing a new Snapdragon chipset that will compete against the W920 chipset, however, it seems as though Snapdragon may have already lost.

XDA-Developers findings show that the Snapdragon Wear 5100 could have 4 ARM Cortex-A73 CPU cores. This will put the Snapdragon in the first place. Though it seems in testing Snapdragon is using A53 cores. We don’t know the fabrication process that Qualcomm will use on their new processor. However, we do know that their last chipset, the Snapdragon 4100 was 12nm. In testing the chipset has 2GB of LPDDE4X RAM, and 16GB of eMMC storage, which is the same as the Galaxy Watch 4. The Snapdragon 5100 will apparently have an ultra-low power co-processor to handle small tasks and allow the main Cortex-A53 cores to be idle more often.

As for the Galaxy Watch 4 though, it seems as though it may have won against this new chipset that will come out soon, mainly because of the fact that the Galaxy Watch 4 uses less power, and has better features because of its chipset, the Exynos W920.

The Galaxy Watch 4 has won against many new smartwatches. From storage to RAM. In the coming time, the Galaxy Watch 5 will come out. As the Galaxy Watch 4 is extremely powerful, we have high expectations for this watch that may come out soon. What we think is that the Galaxy Watch 4 will be the most powerful Wear OS watch for a bit of time. There is no real competition for it in terms of processing power. Lot’s of new Wear OS watches may be built using the Snapdragon Wear 5100. Next year that is.

The PPT Controller app was one of the best apps for Tizen smartwatches. Now, the app has made a comeback and has been released onto the Galaxy Watch 4 series. If you were to head to the Play Store on the Galaxy Watch 4 and search for the PPT Controller app, you would be able to install it.

If you do not know what the PPT controller is, it is essentially a tool that can control PowerPoint presentations using your smartwatch. The app is free to use, but it only runs with Bluetooth, which can limit its functionality by a small amount. One cool feature is that the Galaxy Watch 4 Classic can control the PowerPoint presentation using the rotational bezel – nice hey?

The apps functionality is limited when it comes to Windows PC’s. The main reason for that being that a lot of computers running Windows 10 don’t have Bluetooth connectivity. On the smartwatch, you can swipe to change the slide. Instead of staying near the computer to change slides, you can change the slides from anywhere in the room.

Apple and Epic Games went to court when Epic Games tried to use a third-party payment system in their game “Fortnite”. Apple saw this and banned the game. The two company’s when to court and Epic Games WON, making it so that App Developers don’t have to use Apple’s payment system.

Judge Yvonne Gonzalez-Rogers decided that Apple should allow app developers to use third-party payment systems instead of using Apple’s one. The decision was first reported by The Verge on Twitter along with the sheet that specifically says that Apple must let app developers use third-party systems:

https://twitter.com/reckless/status/1436349568858402822?ref_src=twsrc%5Etfw%7Ctwcamp%5Etweetembed%7Ctwterm%5E1436349568858402822%7Ctwgr%5E%7Ctwcon%5Es1_&ref_url=https%3A%2F%2Fwww.techradar.com%2Fnews%2Fdevelopers-can-now-evade-apples-in-app-payment-scheme-to-directly-sell-to-users

The judge has said that Apple kicking Fortnite for iOS off was lawful and valid. The game may only be back once Apple actually lets them. The chances of Apple letting them back onto the App Store after they made a huge chop of their revenue is very low.

What does this mean for the Apple Store in the near future?

Well, Apple will have lost a lot of money that came from the App Store. The only money they will get from it will be people buying games, people buying items in games using Apple’s payment system, and people creating games/apps. People won’t see much change in the App Store, apart from people creating third-party payment systems for applications. The ruling doesn’t say anything about the Epic Games Store is enabled on the App Store, leaving the App Store as the only app store on iOS. Apple has said that they find this as a win by saying this:

“Today the Court has affirmed what we’ve known all along: the App Store is not in violation of antitrust law. As the Court recognized ‘success is not illegal.’ Apple faces rigorous competition in every segment in which we do business, and we believe customers and developers choose us because our products and services are the best in the world,” the statement read. “We remain committed to ensuring the App Store is a safe and trusted marketplace that supports a thriving developer community and more than 2.1 million U.S. jobs, and where the rules apply equally to everyone.”

Apple has taken revenue ever since the Apple Store was released in 2008. If any app developer made money, Apple would take 30% of it. Now that Apple is being forced not to, maybe the store has just begun growing?

Google is promoting two Wear OS apps on the Google Play Store, Telegram, and Uber. Why Google is doing this is unknown, and what’s even worse is that they’re promoting the apps as “Essential Watch Apps”.

Trying to install the apps won’t do anything whatsoever.

The other apps work however the Telegram and Uber app doesn’t work. Essential would be that if you didn’t have these apps your performance on your watch would be significantly less. Some apps that don’t work won’t even help the performance of your smartwatch whatsoever.

This could be just an honest mistake, or Google is planning a return of Telegram and Uber.

App developers have had trouble trying to create fitness apps that run in the background. Now, Google has updated Wear OS so fitness apps can actually run in the background – even when the watch went into ambient mode.

Paijit, a fitness app developer tried to create a golfing app that would record when you swing up your arm compared to when you kept your arm still while you waited for a result. The app was fine apparently, but there was one flaw says Paijit. The watch would turn into ambient mode and then stop tracking your progress. He was working on Wear OS 2. Paijit, after looking at Wear OS 3, has said that Wear OS 3 might be better for fitness apps.

Wear OS 2 didn’t have many third-party fitness apps, because the watch would switch off and they would have to record their progress all over again. Wear OS 3 allows developers to be sure the watch doesn’t switch off while they are recording their progress. A simple jog with a third-party app on Wear OS 2 would be extremely difficult as they would have to make sure that the watch wouldn’t switch off. In Wear OS 3, there are many new apps thanks to a bit of code change that allows developers to make it so that the watch wouldn’t switch off.

Many fitness developers have moved from Wear OS 2 to Wear OS 3 due to the code changes. Paijit, who worked on Wear OS before Wear OS 2, was hoping that Wear OS 2 would change the developer tools, but Google focused on UI changes and not developer tools. Wear OS 3 has helped developers out, and added more features to use to peoples advantage.

Spotify can now play music when the watch has switched off. And lots of other thing’s are possible in Wear OS 3. Lot’s of other developers could make apps like Paijit’s using Wear OS 3’s new developer tools.
