In the last few days, there’s been many leaks showing us everything Samsung is going to announce at its Unpacked event next month, including the Galaxy Watch 4 and Galaxy Watch 4 Classic. Samsung has started sending out copyright claim strikes to leakers according to some recent reports. Well, we’ve now got a fresh batch of Galaxy Watch 4 information and pictures, and this time, it’s Amazon that’s providing them.
A cached version of Amazon Canada’s website had the Galaxy Watch 4 and Galaxy Watch 4 Classic listed in all their sizes. These sizes are 40mm, 42mm, and 46mm. There are also official renders of the smartwatch, some specs and even pricing. It is revealed that the Galaxy Watch 4 Classic with be made of stainless steel but the Active model of the smartwatch will be made of aluminium.
For the 40/42mm variants, the screen size will be 1.19 inches whereas the 44/46mm variants will havve a 1.36 inch screen. Battery capacities are 361mAh and 247 mAh. Amazon also confirms that the Galaxy Watch 4 and Galaxy Watch 4 Classic will be able to measure your body composition, in addition to tracking your sleep, heart rate, and VO2 Max. EEG and blood pressure monitoring are likely to be on-board as well, though these probably still won’t be available in all markets right out of the box.
The cheapest Galaxy Watch 4 model (40mm aluminum) listed by Amazon starts at CA$309 (Canadian dollars), which translates to just under US$250. The stainless steel Galaxy Watch 4 Classic 46mm is listed for CA$463.88, which translates to around $370. These prices are lower than what previous leaks have suggested, but we would still recommend waiting for the watches to officially launch before getting excited about how much you might have to spend to put one on your wrist.
